Abstract

The Project regarding to this semester has as goal to simulate the signal sent from the transmission to be received by the receptor.

Our group has decided to do the simulation using the state of the art software MATLAB, because we have been using this program for some semesters in the university and we have a strong knowledge.

To simulate the sent signal, we need to understand the Fourier’s theory (Fourier’s series and transform).

Jean Baptiste Joseph Fourier was a French physician and mathematician that along with Laplace and Lagrange spent their time with several studies.

According to Fourier, any periodical function can be showed as the sum of many functions sino and cosine with amplitudes ranges, phases and periods, chosen properly.

Then we need to get the signal (function form) and transform into a Fourier’s series and after modulating this signal to send to the receptor.
